diel svetoznámej série kníh o Harry Potterovi bol na dej

S rôznymi
úvahami a dohadmi sa Harry už po štvrtýkrát dopravil na
Rokfortskú strednú školu čarodejnícku, kde s ostatnými
spolužiakmi spoznal nového učiteľa Obrany proti čiernej
mágii. V domnienke, že tento muž je naozaj Alastor Moody,
prezývaný Divooký, mu Harry bezmedzne veril a obdivoval
ho aj napriek tomu, že to bol človek tajomný a naháňal
strach. Tento školský rok však priniesol ďalšiu
novinku: na Rokforte sa konal Trojčarodejnícky
turnaj, v ktorom v troch kolách súťažili traja
reprezentanti troch rôznych škôl. Z Durmstrangskej
akadémie bol vybraný Viktor Krum, z Beauxbatonsu
Fleur Delacourová a šampiónom Rokfortu bol Cedric
Diggory. Záhadne však bol do Turnaja zapojený aj
Harry ako štvrtý reprezentant, čo si nikto nevedel
vysvetliť.
Šampióni mali v
prvej úlohe čeliť hroznému drakovi a ukradnúť mu
spod nôh zlaté vajce. Harry sa však musel
vysporiadať s tým, že s Ronom sa neustále hádali
a nakoniec povýšenecky zavrhli akúkoľvek komunikáciu.
Po prvej úlohe však všetko dobre dopadlo a Ron s
Harrym sa uzmierili.
Pred tým,
ako sa konala druhá úloha, na škole sa konal vianočný
ples. Napriek Ronovi a Harrymu, ktorý sa cítili
nesmierne trápne, Hermiona vyrazila každému dych;
jej partnerom bol totiž Viktor Krum. Samozrejme,
že Harry a Ron ju okamžite začali podozrievať z
„vlastizrady“, no za krátku dobu sa už Harry musel
spamätať, ak chcel prejsť cez druhú úlohu. S tou
mu pomohol profesor Moody a tak Harry splnil aj
túto úlohu.
Treťou úlohou
bolo prejsť cez labyrint, vyhnúť sa rôznym nástrahám
a získať pohár víťaza. Nešťastnou náhodou sa Harry
a Cedric dostali k poháru v rovnakom čase a naraz
sa jej dotkli. Netušili však, že niekto čašu začaroval
a oni sa ocitli na očividne prázdnom cintoríne. Cedric
tam však bol zavraždený a Harry sa stretol zoči-voči
s Temným pánom. Tomu sa síce podarilo opäť povstať,
no nevyšla mu jeho druhá časť plánu – zabiť Harryho.
Utiekol mu pomedzi prsty a oznámil svetu, že Voldemort
sa vrátil. Ku koncu bolo odhalené aj to, že profesor
Moody bol v skutočnosti niekto úplne iný. Bol to
najvernejší sluha Temného pána a skutočný Moody bol
vyslobodený zo zajatia drevenej skrinky.
